PayeeDiff Terms of Use
These Terms of Use establish the conditions for using the PayeeDiff iOS app (the “App”) provided by MAKE A CHANGE Inc. (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the App, you agree to these Terms.
1. Purpose of the App
The App is an aid that compares the text of U.S. ACH routing and account numbers shown on an invoice with baseline values registered on the device. Results from the App do not guarantee the legitimacy of a vendor, account holder, invoice, or payment.
2. Your responsibility to confirm
If a result is different, unclear, or unknown, stop the payment and confirm with the vendor through a contact method that was verified in advance, not a contact method shown on the invoice or change request. You are responsible for the final payment decision.
3. Rights and permissions for third-party content
You represent and warrant that you have all rights or permissions necessary for the on-device capture, text recognition, display, and comparison of any invoice or other third-party content processed with the App. You must use the App in compliance with applicable law, contractual confidentiality obligations, privacy rights, and intellectual property rights.
4. License and prohibited uses
We grant you a non-transferable, non-exclusive right to use the App for personal use or internal business purposes. You must not use the App in violation of law, in a way that infringes the rights of the App or a third party, or in a way that compromises the security of a service or device.
5. In-App Purchase
The App offers a one-time In-App Purchase that removes the registration limit. Apple’s terms apply to payment, refunds, and purchase restoration. You can restore purchased functionality from “Restore Purchases” in the App.
6. Data on the device
Baselines registered in the App are stored on the device. They may become unrecoverable if the device fails, is lost or reset, or if the App or its storage is deleted. Do not rely on the App alone for an important payment decision.
7. Changes to or suspension of the App
We may change or temporarily suspend the App when necessary for security, maintenance, legal compliance, or other reasons. We will provide appropriate notice of material changes when reasonably possible.
8. Warranty and liability
We do not warrant that the App can read every invoice or that comparison results will always be complete or accurate. Our liability is limited to the extent permitted by applicable law. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot lawfully be limited for consumers.
9. Apple terms
If you obtained the App from the App Store, Apple’s applicable terms also apply.
10. Changes to these Terms
If we change these Terms, we will update the effective date on this page and provide appropriate notice of material changes.
